What is a pre-session consultation?
This is where the magic begins! We want to focus on your needs and find out everything about you to determine what will look best in your home. Tell us what you like to do, if you are funky or classic. We would love to see pictures of your home and the walls you are thinking about putting the pictures on. This will help in determing where we will photograph you and what type of clothing you should wear. It will also help the photographer know which orientation the portrait should be. We want to plan for this event so that everything will go smoothly. That means less stress for you!
When do I get to view my images?
Highlite Photography will scheduled your preview and purchase date approximately one week after your session date. Our professional staff will narrow down the images worthy of a wall portrait along with some candid moments that may occur during the session. Your images will be set to music and viewed in our quaint salesroom. Best of all, remember those images of your home that we asked for? Highlite Photography offers the technology to view what your images may look like on your walls!
Who should I bring to my sales appointment?
Bring the decision makers! Your sales appointment will move through smoothly with the decision makers of your household. Making decisions on which images you would like to invest in may take sometime. Children become restless and easily distracted during these sessions and are best left at home. You will want to concentrate and relax during this appointment. Please note due to the historic nature of the building, you will climb up quaint stairs and we can accomodate up to five guests.
What kind of investment do most families make?
Remember that we all come in different shapes and sizes! To answer this question would be unfair as our needs differ each time we maybe investing pictures from our annual family portraits to a newborn baby session. Yes, digital files will be offered in some of our packages.
How long before I pick up my portraits?
Good things are worth waiting for! Remember that Highlite Photography views each image you are investing in as a piece of art. Quality images take time from a professional retouching to color balancing at our lab. Plan on four to six weeks after the sale has been completed. Custom albums and framing may take longer. Once your order has arrived and is packaged, our staff will contact you to schedule your pick up time. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!
